Description
Authentic Grading – Professional Authenticity Verification for Trading Cards
Authentic Grading by Black Grading Service allows trading cards up to 55 pt to be professionally verified for authenticity and securely sealed inside our premium BLACK case.
This service focuses on confirming the authenticity of the card. Unlike traditional grading, no numerical condition grade is assigned. Once the card has successfully passed the authenticity verification process, it receives the designation “Authentic.”
PROFESSIONAL AUTHENTICITY VERIFICATION
The front and back of the submitted card are carefully inspected for relevant authenticity characteristics.
Depending on the card, the inspection may include material, printing, manufacturing characteristics and other identifying features relevant to determining authenticity.
Once successfully verified, the card receives the corresponding Black Grading Service Authentic label.
A numerical overall grade and individual subgrades are not included with this service.
CARDS UP TO 55 PT
Authentic Grading is suitable for trading cards with a thickness of up to 55 pt.
This allows a wide range of classic and modern collectible cards within our supported formats to be authenticated and securely encapsulated.
PREMIUM PROTECTION IN THE BLACK CASE
After successful authenticity verification, the card is securely sealed inside our premium BLACK case.
Depending on the card format, individually fitted tamper-resistant inlays are used to provide secure positioning and a premium presentation.
DATABASE REGISTRATION & DIGITAL CARD RECORD
Once the authenticity verification has been completed, the card is registered in the Black Grading Service database with an individual serial number.
The digital card entry includes visual records of the card and can be accessed via the QR code on the label or by entering the corresponding serial number.
MYSLAPS PORTAL & DIGITAL COLLECTION
You receive access to the MySlaps Portal, where you can digitally view and manage your authenticated cards.
Your personal digital collection includes a 3D slab view, allowing you to view, organize and present your cards digitally.
NO VALUE-BASED SURCHARGES
Black Grading Service does not charge additional fees solely because a submitted card has a higher market value.
The price of Authentic Grading remains independent of the card’s value.
