Standard Grading – professional grading for your trading cards
With Black Grading Service’s standard grading, you will receive a professional and comprehensive grading of your trading card.
The service is for standard cards with a card strength of up to 55 pt suitable and can be used for all trading card games that are officially supported for grading by Black Grading Service.
Once grading is complete, your card will be securely sealed in our high-quality BLACK case and will receive an individual label with a rating and serial number.
PROFESSIONAL GRADING
The front and back of your card are carefully checked as part of our professional grading process.
The relevant assessment areas such as surface, centering, edges and corners are included in determining the overall grade.
From an overall rating of 7, the corresponding subgrades are also shown.
FOR OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED TCGs
Standard grading is available for cards from all trading card games officially supported by Black Grading Service.
The prerequisite is that the card meets our current grading requirements and has a card thickness of up to 55 pt.
HIGH QUALITY BLACK CASE
Once the assessment is completed, your card will be securely sealed in our high-quality BLACK case.
The case permanently protects the card while ensuring a high-quality presentation within your collection.
DATABASE ENTRY & DIGITAL CARD CAPTURE
After grading, your card will be registered with an individual serial number in the Black Grading Service database.
The digital card entry includes an image capture of the card and can be accessed via the QR code on the label or via the corresponding serial number.
MYSLAPS PORTAL & DIGITAL COLLECTION
You will receive access to the MySlaps portal and will be able to view and manage your graded cards digitally.
Your personal digital collection includes a 3D slab view that lets you view, organize and present your graded cards digitally.
NO VALUE-RELATED SUPPLEMENTS
With Black Grading Service, the price of grading is not based on the market value of your card.
Even for particularly valuable cards, there are no additional grading fees solely due to a higher card value.
PROCESSING TIME
The regular processing time for standard grading is 14-21 business days.
